This isn't a coding bootcamp or AI seminar. It's hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of an AI services business.
Inside Rebar
You'll work inside Rebar, a custom technology solutions company serving blue-collar businesses across the trades — plus leaders from the broader Marrow ecosystem in bookkeeping, consulting, recruiting, and marketing.
The Full Business Lifecycle
You'll cover every stage — from first contact to ongoing support.
1
Prospect & Sell
Prospecting, marketing, and sales
2
Design & Build
Solution design and development
3
Deploy & Support
Deployment and ongoing client support
By summer's end, you'll knowhow to assess an opportunity, design an AI solution, build it, and deliver it — skills that transfer to any path you choose.
Who We're Looking For
We're selecting 3–5 participants who meet these criteria.
Already Using AI
Actively using Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools to solve problems — you see AI as leverage, not magic.
Problem Solver
You identify problems worth solving, think through edge cases, and design solutions that work in the real world.
Entrepreneurial
You want to build things, not just study them. Comfortable with ambiguity, motivated by outcomes.
Ready to Commit
June–August, 10–20 hours/week, flexible schedule. Real work from Day 1 — not simulated experience.
What You'll Build
Client Solutions
AI-powered tools for construction, contracting, and trades — quoting systems, job site scheduling, crew management, workflow automation.
Internal Projects
Tools and systems that help Rebar and Marrow companies operate more efficiently.
Personal Exploration
Side projects to help you learn and grow. We encourage experimentation — and may discuss investment if you build something compelling.
What We Provide
Real Projects
Tools that go into production and solve actual business problems — not mock assignments.
Structured Learning
Group sessions, 1-on-1 mentorship with Rebar's lead engineer, and exposure to client meetings and strategy sessions.
Tools & Stipend
$500/month stipend, Claude Pro account, Google Workspace with Gemini, and Denver office access.
Broad Exposure
Interact with leaders across the Marrow ecosystem — bookkeeping, consulting, recruiting, and marketing — all leveraging AI.
